Difficulties I encountered
· Due to Japanese and Chinese expression habits, I was not good at expressing my opinions clearly and vividly with examples in group discussions
· I was afraid that my opinions were not coherent enough so that I did not express them much
· I was afraid that my English is not good enough to explain things clearly
· I was nervous to speak in front of people when giving presentations
How I overcame
• I found all the team members come from different countries and they all have different habits in expression and personalities. We decided to listen to each other carefully with patience and more tolerance. Maybe we don't need to pursue perfection, we need to care more about communication and mutual understanding.
• I found that when everyone's opinion is respected equally, even a small opinion can make the team's final result icing on the cake.
• I found it is hard for everyone to be perfect, but what I can do is trying to make it better
